Residency: Jason Kao Hwang’s Human Rites Trio

In June, Continuum produced a Seattle-Oakland residency featuring composer/violinist Jason Kao Hwang and his Human Rites Trio. We presented three concerts, workshops in two shelters for recently homeless veterans and others, a workshop for seniors, and a post-performance conversation in Oakland on the Asian American Arts movement with Francis Wong and Jon Jang, two of the founders of the movement.

(Continuum will also present a CD release concert by the trio in New York on November 22.)
