Bicycle Noise Creation Machine
Bicycle Noise Creation Machine (BNCM; Bea Pasley & Ashera Schwartz) is one of the most prominent touring amplified bicycle sound improvisation duos of the mid-2020s! This summer they are teaming up with "Pants!" -the musical about Victorian era dress reform & the invention of the Bicycle- to bike 300+ miles to inspire, confuse, and amuse audiences across the Pacific Northwest.
BNCM has been making noise music out of bicycles since 2023 and will be touring their debut album (out on Transsexual Harsh Noise Productions in July 2026). BNCM live sets use no electronic manipulation beyond contact microphones and a mixer; Bea and Ashera are masterful improvisers with the bike as an acoustic instrument, discovering more with every mile they bike.
